We want to bring to your attention a potential scam that has been targeting residents in Lake County area.

Please be advised that Glenbrook Sanitary District employees will never ask to enter your home without prior notification. If someone comes to your door claiming to be from the Sanitary District, do not allow them entry without verification.
For your safety, we recommend the following precautions:

Verify Identification: Always ask for official identification.

Call for Confirmation: If you have any doubts, please contact our office at 847-604-8280 to verify the authenticity of any visit.

Do Not Share Personal Information: Never share personal or financial information with someone you do not trust.
We are committed to your safety and appreciate your cooperation in this matter. If you encounter anyone suspicious, please report it to local law enforcement immediately.

BOARD VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
​
The Glenbrook Sanitary District is looking for an individual to fill a Board vacancy in 2024. Terms run for three consecutive years. The District is a unit of local government which was created under the Illinois Sanitary District Act of 1936 over 30 years ago for the purpose of constructing and providing sanitary sewer service to the residents of the Glenbrook Countryside Subdivision.
In addition to providing sanitary service, the district also provides potable water for consumption. The water is from Lake Michigan Water, which is provided by the City of Highland Park.
We are searching for an individual, who is a resident of Glenbrook Countryside Subdivision and is interested in serving the District. Any person interested in being appointed to fill the Board vacancy must submit the application and affidavit to appointments@cookcountyil.gov and Ken at info@gsd.illinois.gov. as soon as possible.

VIA AUTOMATED CLEARING HOUSE (ACH)

The Glenbrook Sanitary District will begin offering an ACH bank draft program (direct withdrawal) to all of our water & sewer customers. This service assures your payment will be received in a timely manner as well as provide a safe and secure way to pay your water/sewer bill. For more information, please view the mailing notice.
